Suppose it's Thursday, 10: 35 clock. You are already tired and the weekend is near. You have completed your conference call for today, the reworking is done by a colleague. Your calendar has no further appointments for the day. The next free time block starts right now. How do you decide what to do now? More precisely, what are you going to do for the next two hours?
This question sounds as banal as provocative. But their answer is crucial for efficient work and a successful career. To know the wisest next step in order to achieve its goals, distinguishes the professional from the beginner, the well-being of the driving cork. The fact that classical time management is unavoidable, but is no longer sufficient in the modern world of work, employees, self-employed persons and managers feel every day.
Time can not be structured on command
Because time can not be "structured", everyone has the same 24 hours available. Time can only be used effectively. That's both the core and the opportunity. It is therefore important to combine time and project management with your intuition.
Surely you already know the most important basics of self-management: write down tasks and thoughts, sort lists by categories, record appointments and to-dos separately, use digital tools, do everything immediately, which takes no longer than two minutes, delegate down, set time blocks ...

Many methods are aimed at analytically functioning thinking. If you use the left hemisphere, the facts, figures, system and plans are very helpful. People whose right hemisphere dominates tend to be spontaneous, chaotic, and creative.
You have to figure out which type of management works best for you
But no matter what system you find, in spite of all its structure and planning, the individual personal drive to decide how much energy you invest. Too often, this is neglected in everyday activities.
Therefore, be aware that only when the brain and the human act on the innermost correspondence do you get into the flow. To help your intuition on the jumps and frame the "tracking" helps a two-step model.
