However, you probably know that too: there are almost always factors that prevent you from saving in any way. Maybe you are too annoyed to try something new. Or you do not feel like organizing. Or the friends and acquaintances do not move ...

Speaking of which ...

Overview

But sports partners can also be found through sports communities. And a notice in the supermarket or one Display: in the local newspaper also fulfill their purpose.

We had a regular appointment. And then three days before the "mailing" started: one could not, the other just a little later, "can anyone at all?", "We'll meet somewhere else", etc. I quickly realized: Because I had the idea, the organization also stuck to me. And if I had not e-mailed every week, it would soon have fallen asleep. But gradually it has become a dear habit.

peer pressure

Overview

You have to peer pressure overcome: Many do not like to admit that they can not afford or want something. For example, when I came up with the idea of organizing picnics in the summer because it was a little cheaper than a visit to the beer garden, I was looked at with irritation. I then changed the argument, selling the inexpensive leisure alternative instead as a new trend and particularly brilliant idea - and suddenly everyone was excited

In the leisure such management skills Instead of sitting in front of the TV, it pays off: it promotes creativity, decision-making, communication skills, sense of responsibility and self-confidence. And apart from the fact that these qualities are also an advantage in professional life, success usually arises after some obstinacy. So it is called patience.

The "inner pig dog"

Overview

But where is the "inner bastard" because actually buried exactly? What exactly prevents me from spending less? Why am I saving so much? I wanted to analyze that again in detail and in writing. For this purpose, I once again looked at my priority window: Why had I been holding on to the activities in field D for so long, which are not very enjoyable, but expensive? It is precisely these D activities that are a good indicator of where the barriers to savings actually lie.

I realized that an important barrier for me was that I was very much oriented towards others. And wondered why it was so hard for me to save. At the end, I compiled a list of my personal obstacles that showed me why saving me so much trouble. However, I did not leave it at a pure listing, but also noted the same possible solution. That was important, because I did not just want to criticize, but to productively change something! My list looked like this at the end:

Checklist: my personal obstacles to saving:

Personal obstacles to saving:I can do that against:
Over offer at possibilitiesI set priorities and find out (Eisenhower principle), which is really important to me and what I can do without.
Role model of friends and acquaintancesI realize that I only do certain things because my friends and acquaintances show it to me.
Others can not convince of the need to saveI sell my alternative ideas differently: I'm not saying "we have to save" but "I have a new, original idea."
Friends and family are happy about the ideas, but the implementation hangs.Others are comfortable too. Not only do I have to convince other people of alternative ideas, but I also have to ensure that they are implemented. And that usually means that I have to organize something myself - the others usually go with it.
I spend money to get and maintain social contactsSitting around at home, because you have too little money to meet new people, does not have to be: I search in Internet portals, by advertisement or notice specifically for contacts with the same interests.
I lose money through spares, z. B. Lock offersI go to the 1 Euro Shop because it is so cheap and afterwards I spent too much money. Therefore: Do not be seduced by the supposedly low prices, only buy what I really need.
ConvenienceI'll just catch up. It's worth it!
Afraid to do something differentWhat can happen? If I just dare something new, I'll be surprised to find that things are going much better than expected!
Lack of new ideasI use creativity techniques to get new ideas.

What is the most effective way to get a job? That was and always will be: networking. Because think about what you do, for example, if you are looking for a good doctor or hairdresser. Right: You ask someone you already know for recommendations. And usually after personal recommendations, because they trust this rather than reviews on the Internet. And so does everyone, including your potential employer.
