The extract

The following text was printed in the textbook TERRA Geography - here first the text, then the book excerpt as picture: “One day, men came to my village. They said every family had to send a child to school. I didn't want to, but I had to. The way to school was long, I was gone all day. At some point I understood that I could learn something at school and I became a very good student because I wanted to achieve something. I then got a scholarship for high school in Nairobi. I had to cough there all the time because the air was so bad. And I was the most scared of the soft mattresses. Even today I prefer to sleep on the fur beds in the village. But I now have a cell phone, an eMail address and a driver's license. I don't tell my parents what the modern world looks like. You shouldn't think you are bad. ” TERRA Geography: With a text by Best of HR – Berufebilder.de® {Textbook} TERRA geography
