Humor increases the value of businesses

Is that supposed to be a joke? Increase the value of a company with a sense of humor? No, this is not a joke. What want Company ? Turnover and Profits! In times of globalization, competition and constant economic and political challenges, corporate cultures change. The motto is humor instead of hierarchy!

Who has already developed his human knowledge, his emotional intelligence, his communicative abilities and his sense of humor privately is, of course, an advantage in his job. The mastery of soft skills clearly determines success and failure. Also and especially at work!

Let us analyze this more precisely: what causes the insolvency of Schlecker?

  1. The attitude towards the employees and customers was characterized by mistrust and cynicism.
  2. The customer orientation. and customer communication was very bad. The loveless cheap shops testify to this. And the completely demotivated saleswomen.
  3. False market strategy: Schlecker opened more branches than the more successful Drogeriekette Rossmann.
  4. A catastrophic reputation.
  5. Internal and external communication about the impending insolvency, a crisis management were not available.

If the couple had chosen and implemented Schlecker Humor as a model for their corporate culture, the result would be motivation, sustainability, a positive reputation, satisfied customers and growth.
