The top employers: promoted and relegated
For the study 4955 professionals with at least one and at most eight years of professional experience and academic background were interviewed. The results of the survey are also the basis for the universe employer ranking.
The automotive industry is by far the most attractive industry for young professionals - and has been for years. Among the top 10 in this year's ranking are five car makers among the young professionals with economics as well as those with engineering backgrounds. The leadership trio formed by Audi, BMW and Porsche have managed to keep themselves continuously in the top 2008 since 5.

Daimler / Mercedes-Benz improved by two positions compared to the previous year and is now in sixth place among the young engineers. The top employer of economists
In the ranking list of employers, the young professionals with an economic background in science put Audi first in the first place and thus pushed BMW to second place. Porsche was able to confirm its position in third place from the previous year, while Daimler / Mercedes-Benz is in seventh place.
The top employers of IT experts
As in the previous year, the young IT experts chose Google as the most attractive employer. SAP was able to improve by two positions and is now in second place. Audi ranked third, an improvement by four positions, followed by the BMW Group (third place in the previous year).
Microsoft in fifth lost three positions compared to last year. IBM Germany remains sixth, followed by Siemens in seventh place (last year fifth). Amazon, Porsche and Volkswagen also make it into the top 10 among IT experts.
The top employer of natural scientists
The Top 3 employers remain the same as in the previous year for young professionals with a scientific background. Both the Max Planck Society and the Fraunhofer Society in second place and Bayer in third place were able to defend their top positions from the previous year.
Newcomer Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma, was able to place fourth place straight away.
