The job search
Andre Paetzel has kindly made me aware of this call for tenders via Twitter, with which Welthungerhilfe is looking for an employee or employee starting with 15.12.2010 - and that freelance.
What is being searched sounds completely normal - only the last few points make me stop:
- multi-year experience as an online editor
- Very good knowledge of Typo3 and Photoshop (required) and HTML (favorable)
- Experience with social media activities in organizations (required) as well as in the development of social media strategies and campaigns (desirable)
- Experience in search engine optimization, onlinemarketing is no foreign word
- high affinity to topics and developments around the Internet and multimedia
- Affinity to development policy issues and fundraising
- Mother tongue German and good English skills
- strong self-initiative and commitment
So far everything is normal, but then it says:
- living in the Cologne-Bonn area
The time required to complete the tasks is estimated to be 30 hours / week.
Covert bogus self employment
What makes me very strong suggesting that someone is actually looking for someone who works 30 hours a week, because otherwise it does not matter exactly where the employee lives. And under a self-employed activity, I also imagine something different from the fact that my client is already pretending to work for me.
For me this sounds like a cloaked form of misconception, the motto is that we want to hire someone, but we want to save social security. With the interns so far has not worked so well. So we are looking for a freelance, solved problem.
Social insurance fraud as normal?
As I said, from publishers, in advertising or in the PR is known the problem already langen. On the contrary, the way in which labor and social law are eroded, no one seems to attract much attention. Such employment relationships, in simple terms, are social insurance fraud.
From the German Welthungerhilfe eV, which itself with the words "one of the large and respected private organizations of development cooperation and humanitarian aid in Germany. Charitable ... for a more equitable cooperation with the developing countries ", I would have expected that it starts with its own employees and behaves at least in accordance with the law.
At an eye level
And no, I have nothing against freelancers - but probably something against this form of self-employment-Ausnutzerei: But those should then be met on an equal footing and not impose on them work and time. Anyone who is good at his job will not be able to do that anyway.
