Job interviews - the big mystery?

I often wonder why job interviews are such a mystery. If you have been conscious of what you want, then it is easy to be open and honest. Here are two examples:
- If you want to have a casual atmosphere with flat hierarchies, you should apply to suitable companies rather than hierarchical companies and then engage in conversation.
- If you are not ready to travel, you should not seek a position with a high level of traveling.
Clarify your own objectives
These questions should be clarified before applying so that no application tips are needed afterwards. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, even if many guides and rules for the “perfect” interview suggest exactly that.
Every job, every company and above all every applicant is fundamentally different. Expectations and requirements are completely different due to individual influencing factors. This applies to both the employee and the provider side.
Just be authentic
Now one or the other will surely smile at this point if I give the “simple” advice: behave authentically and be honest. Find the healthy mediocrity!
Of course, this advice will only lead you to success if you meet certain conditions. I have already considered these basic conditions as self-evident, but I have now gained the impression that these have to be defined again in the second part of this article.
The key factor
However, despite all the tips that can be deepened to the utmost detail, the decisive factor is whether you are authentic. It sounds banal. But it is the convincing factor.
Could you get an idea of yourself after the interview? Do you believe? Are you trusted and given the task? In addition to the technical qualifications, these are the questions that must be answered during the job interview.
Do you feel comfortable?
And for you too, these questions are crucial. Feel at ease in the company. Can you imagine going to this office every morning? Can you imagine working with the well-know people?
If not, look further. Because you are successful not only through the right job, but above all by the right boss, who demands and promotes.
However, openness in the application interview does not mean that the applicant should leave his / her behavior at home. It does not, however, mean that employers are allowed to be personally opposed to the applicant.
Openness, on the other hand, means that both the applicant and the employee should draw an honest picture. This image should show not only strengths but also weaknesses. After all, it is so nice to be able to grow and develop. And most workers are looking for a new professional challenge in order to develop further.
