What women who lead men should necessarily do

Why are not more women in leadership positions?

The question is why no longer women are in leadership positions, if they are so much better than men in many matters. Dopfer mentions two reasons for this:

  1. Because men do not want it. Men want to stay among themselves, they do not know how to deal with "strong" women and they are afraid to be undermined by the woman as a boss. "Even boys do not like to respond to the instructions of girls. They ignore them or even oppose the educational efforts of female adults while listening to peers and their father or teacher. If boys behave like that, why should not they do it as adult men? "
  2. Because women do not want it. Many women are not so ambitious and competitive because of their nature; this has, according to the author, even its reason in another "brain physiological equipment". In addition, many women have too little confidence in their own abilities and do not even apply for appropriate jobs. It also plays a role that for many women own children and family play a greater role than for men and they set the course accordingly different. Leading, so Dopfer, but you have to want.

"More understanding for the fragile men's souls"

Pleading for an androgynous leadership style
