Always the same fat bottle?
In the article, which has just appeared, the 33-year-old Sandra Seedorf, Personnel Manager at the advertising agency Draftfcb in Hamburg wonders "that especially young applicants consistently aim for the same mistakes."
The answer is the same: The young people just have too little experience.
Do not personalities bear the truth?
So why should you? know suspect that the human resource managers seem to prefer to hear the nicely packaged (in) truth against better knowledge - perhaps because they can not stand the unvarnished truth? The question asked in the interview "Why do you want to us" of course everyone would like to have answered with "You are cool, you are the best!".
Which is understandable that one would like to find out in this way, if the applicant also has industry knowledge and really for the Company Interested. If that's really the case. I do not think that a school leaver can be expected to really make it through the industry. In fact, for most of them, as it says in the article, they look at the first five companies at the IHK - and just try it.
Charmingly packed - what a fool!
Personnel Seedorf, however, advises "to pack this more charming". For example, assuming that you happened to come to the company, but then got enthusiastic about customers or projects.
I asked myself: Why this circumstance and this waste of time - if, as a personnel, you know anyway that it is only nicely packaged? Why not be happy that the job candidate seems to be able to work efficiently?
Actually, it should be clear to everyone that the applicant does not live for the company!
And, of course, it is also clear to every person that applicants do not want to spend their lives in the office. At least it should be clear. The company finally does not give alms but wants to benefit from the labor force. This is a win-win situation for both, where the company can show that it is really a good job. And in the course of the personnel markings for the top workers also really important!
So what's the nonsense that applicants should not immediately after the next vacation or the hours to inquire? Who really takes off the applicant when he asks "in which team would I work?" Is the honest really the stupid again? And want to Personals, with the right to say, really fooled as it says in the article?
