Today I am the managing director of Cheval Trainings because I learned the most from horses. Always familiar with them, I wanted to know what management training with horses is all about and signed up for training as a “horse coach”.

Horses only follow when they have confidence. They feel very well whether I have a plan and are clear and coherent. Horses are a perfect mirror to reflect their own behavior. Through targeted exercises, seminar participants learn to build trust and demand respect.
Why is mindfulness and presence so important?
Horses are escape animals. They always live and decide from the moment. If I change my behavior, the horse responds accordingly. Mindfulness plays an important role. If I do not give him enough mindfulness, he immediately turns to other things.
This property makes horses honest, direct and unbiased. This experience often lacks executives due to their role.
What can man learn from the horse?
In professional life there is often no choice but to follow the boss, because otherwise consequences threaten. If man and horse meet, man can only take over the leadership role if he offers himself as an authentic and honest leader.
The horse does not pretend and becomes a coach. When leaders learn to face their employees in the same way, this equates to eye-level communication. The claim to leadership is not based on pressure, but on trust.
