Better leadership & decision-making with intuition: Use your potential!

Albert Einstein already described intuition as a “holy gift” that society has forgotten. As a connection between our mind and our body, intuition is a relationship to our inner wisdom, which we are losing more and more today.

Belly brain as an emotional memory

Intuition combines the mind with our gut feeling. The so-called abdominal brain is a central collection point of conscious and unconscious impulses of our body, a kind of emotional memory. Emotions and the associated physical sensations shape our lives and always accompany us through the day.

We associate positive experiences with pleasant body sensations and negative experiences usually with discomfort. We are sometimes aware of these processes, but mostly they run unconsciously in the background and are stored in the body cells like on a hard drive. In comparable situations, they offer us a wealth of experience from which we can draw, provided we are able to decipher these messages.

Stress and hustle and bustle are the greatest intuition killer

In order to come into contact with our intuition, an awareness of the inner perception of our perception is important as well as a relaxed basic attitude. Stress and hustle and bustle deprive us of our intuition, they are the greatest intuition killer. Just today, where we are constantly online and accessible at any time, there is little time left for us to get in contact with ourselves and to explore our desires.

We make decisions with our heads and realize later that the stomach rebels because the situation does not feel good. But if we had listened more to our needs expressed in the form of emotions in the body, we would probably have made a different decision. It is precisely this approach which presents us with new problems. Because our health depends essentially on the ability to receive the signals of our bodies and take them seriously.

Intuitively is also mostly empathic

Those who can not decode their own emotions or ignore them permanently may have to pay a high price later. These people often suffer from chronic gastrointestinal complaints. Contemporaries, however, who stay in touch with their own intuition, live healthier, experience themselves as self-determined and are more willing to engage with their counterpart.

And anyone who intuitively comes into close contact with their fellow human beings signals that the other person is important to them. This creates a relationship of trust. A lack of intuitive perception, on the other hand, often leads to a lack of empathy in the form of appreciation and meeting at eye level. This in turn is important not only among friends, but also among colleagues and everyone involved within a team. So if we manage to cultivate better access to our inner wisdom, it will not only be the individual but also the whole as a whole Company benefit from it. It is exciting to see that “soft topics” such as intuition are becoming more and more socially acceptable in business.

The magic moment of decision making

Contrary to popular belief, intuition can be spontaneous, but it doesn't have to be. Decisions need to be made on the spot. It depends on speed, at first Impuls. Others, on the other hand, need time, they have to mature. There it does Senseto interpose a relaxation exercise, a walk or a creative activity.

Instead of a pros and cons list, you can consciously switch to the intuition mode by looking at rational emotions as well as the related emotions. Set a time window to prevent stress and take notes. Puzzling the possibilities together until a coherent overall picture results. Then switch to another job and check after a short time, at the latest after 24 hours, if your decision still feels rational and emotionally good for you. If that's the case, you've made it. If not, restart.

Intuitive leadership

With a little practice and trust in your own resources, you will unlock your intuitive potential in a very simple and practical way that works really well in everyday life.

Suddenly you discover two instances that you can rely on: the head and the stomach. Additional orientation has not harmed anyone. On the contrary, it can be a valuable compass in the world Self-guidance and in the Guide be different. I wish you every success and joy in trying it out!

  1. Tim says:

    Hey Monika,
an absolutely exciting article, which once again gives a completely new view of a decision making. Of course, there is also a lot of courage to listen to his gut feeling but personally I have never been disappointed. The whole now again from an analytical point of view is very interesting!
Thank you for these valuable insights!

    Best regards,

    Tim

      Hey Tim,
Thank you very much for the postive feedback! I am glad that you like the article. I change the perspective and say: It is much braver, NOT to listen to his gut feeling and just let the head decide.
      Stay Intuitive in the lead!

      Best regards,
