How digital media change journalism

New structures emerge that challenge business models and ways of thinking. Journalism in Germany is at a crossroads: An increasing precarization of employment relationships due to mass layoffs and the closure of entire editorial offices are in contrast to attempts to innovate working methods and offers.
Opportunities and risks for journalists
The spread of digital media creates new threats and opportunities for news organizations and journalism as a core element of modern democracies.
With prominent journalists, it will be discussed in detail how innovative approaches for a journalism can be implemented that are based on the social and technological realities of the 21. Century.
