Pros and cons of the home office

I like to work in the home office and I am always aware of its advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantages is without a doubt that I just have no way to work. On commuting and work paths has the MDR now made this interview with me.

The disadvantages include, without a doubt, the risk of working more and less healthily than under the "guarding" of bosses and colleagues.

Risk of self-exploitation

Therefore, my conclusion and conclusion in the interview is also:

"Home office is a good way to work flexibly and to organize your time freely. You just have to be careful not to exploit yourself."

Who can choose, usually works more

Sounds paradoxical, but it is the case: big companies such as Microsoft or Coca Cola have certainly not given their employees the full flexibility and freedom of choice at the place of work and time. The danger that the employees then even work more is great.

As amazing as it sounds, in the home office one has to discipline oneself a lot more, not only to work efficiently, but also to take breaks.

Home Office as an alternative to commuting?

The interview conducted by Florian Zinner is aimed at commuters looking for an alternative to the daily commute. But it is in my opinion only partially suitable.

In my opinion, the topic is more complex and by no means just a small everyday problem.

The home office is just the beginning

In the coming years, digitization and automation will change our way of life and work considerably.

The discussion about the Home Office is just the beginning, it remains exciting!

I do not want to be too negative, but if we do not watch the newly trained or graduates or unemployed technicians come back to work, then know how will eventually be lost.
