200 Likes a day for a quickly spelled out text
Yesterday was another day when I was pretty stressed out a lot of things left. And therefore did not have much time to write carefully thought-out blogposts.
So around lunchtime I quickly posted this post online - a nice video that I liked so much, to which I flanked a few sentences. But they hit like a bomb: About 200 Facebook Likes since yesterday and even more clicks on the blog post.
The nerve of the time hit
Because apparently I had hit a nerve with my rather thoughtlessly thrown sentences - including spelling and grammatical errors. So Kai Müller wrote on Facebook:
"Exactly my view, how brands and" bloggers "can actually come together. With mutual respect. I've been telling everyone for ages, but 99% of the agencies are still not checking that out. "
PR agencies: disinterested and disrespectful
Incidentally, these 99% of the agencies also included those following me last Friday afternoon (Motto: Becoming active again shortly before the weekend) eMail sent:
Hello, I am interested in the seminar "Blogger Relations for PR People and Company". Can you tell me when and where the next appointment will take place and what will cost participation?
We just brush all ...
By the way this seminar was meant.
It seems quite common in the marketing and agency scene, even unknown people via eMail I do not want to get used to it, but I do not really want to get used to it.
Also because this confidentially-jovial "DU" all too often signaled to me "YOU, we do not take you seriously". From the respect I would like in the blogger relation, no trace. But maybe I'm just a bit stuffy ;-).
Bloggerrelations - or how to bring cheap advertising messages to the man / woman?
Probably, however, it depends on the context. Because at the latest if immediately after the price is asked, instead of talking about needs first, especially on this topic, which we have not conceived for nothing as an individual seminar offer, I have my superior doubts as to whether the cooperation would work.
Or as I said yesterday, many agencies, so my impression, promise from a seminar bloggerrelations that someone tells them for as little money as they bring for even less money their advertising messages to the man or the woman.
No wonder you are looking for such a seminar!
So if the agency has so far addressed bloggers in exactly the same way, then it does not surprise me that they are looking for such a seminar offer.
