Working environments and requirements change quickly, so everyone needs to be willing to learn to live and develop. For only those who keep pace with the new developments can permanently contribute to the company's success and thus position themselves professionally. Especially internationally oriented companies with decentralized structures need employees who work independently. According to the study "Application Practice 2015" of the Center for Human Resources Information Systems (CHRIS) at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg, 94,3 percent of job seekers especially want a good working atmosphere. Flexible working time models (85,9 percent), good career opportunities (84,5 percent), training and knowledge sharing (83,7 percent) and a good work-life balance (81,7 percent) are the key criteria that make an attractive employer. The salary is decisive only for half of the respondents.
Feel good at work is not a question of money
Of course, employees want to be paid appropriately for their performance. But even more important is that they feel comfortable at work. This is also in the interest of the company, because satisfied employees are more motivated and more efficient. Training and development opportunities play a decisive role here. It is up to the HR department to provide training for all levels of the workforce - not just the executive career.
Training courses today do not necessarily have to take the form of a classroom event. Increasingly eLearning is used, depending on the topic also blended learning, ie the combination of online and classroom training. The modern options have the advantage that employees can then learn when they have time, and are not bound to fixed dates and places.

Attract new employees and retain qualified employees in the company: these are challenging tasks in times of professional defenses.
Whoever can offer an attractive workplace culture wins. The salary does not play so much. Decisive are a good work-life balance, flexible work-time models as well as good training and career opportunities.
