Bad enough that Anette Schavan advertises for the Bildzeitung and its app - she obviously also knows exactly that this is actually not correct. That shows a letter from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
My reader, who prefers to remain unrecognized, operates a portal on which he lists a catalog of currently about 60 educational offerings. The screenshots, a short description and the costs for the user are shown on the pages.
An overview database, therefore, which moreover comes to me more like an idealistic project than a commercial online offer with profit-making intentions. Sure, it is also advertised to sponsors: However, there is much less advertising on the site than for example in my blog.
My reader has now asked the Federal Ministry of Education Anette Schavan in August 2010 a greeting for his side, which would certainly have had an advertising effect. After nearly two months came - the cancellation.
Three reasons are mentioned, including the statement that commercial providers can not be supported. I put the letter at my disposal here, but I had blackened the passages which might betray my reader.
To put it immediately: The reasoning should be textual blocks, in which Ministerialdirigent Dr. Stefan Luhr has not even bothered to adapt this to the present case.

But well, if one interprets the word "promotion" generously as "support" and therefore wants to understand that the Ministry of Education does not want to support commercial providers, which in principle I do not think wrong - then, yes then do in connection with the BILD Advertising then some questions on:
- Is the Bild newspaper not a commercial provider - who knows, maybe it is publicly funded? :-)
- Is the Bild-Zeitung responsible for Vocational Education and Training or is it active in the transition of the educational fields?
- Is Bild-Zeitung more valuable in terms of content than small educational portals - and if so for whom?
- How much money do you have to pay Ms. Schavan for throwing her above-mentioned principles overboard?
- Does Anette Schavan only advertise if there is enough public?
- Or are there other gearings of which we know nothing?
In the last two points, I play on the fact that Alice Schwarzer, who has indeed advertised for the Bild newspaper, for these also working as a journalist - according to their own information, because they appreciate the mass audience of Bild. Thanks to @Lukaswan for this tweet!
