3 chef types and how to deal with you
With the start of the New Year, one or the other is also looking for a new job. Employees are challenged to adapt to a different supervisor, not just for a new job, but also for a change of department or project. From the first meeting, employees, the boss, or of course the boss, and his or her management style to properly assess.
Of course you want to be good with him or her, because who gets along with the boss, increases his chance of promotion. In addition, a pleasant relationship with the boss ensures a certain feel-good factor. But how do you know what the new boss is for the type of person and how he is Team leads? We'll introduce you to three different leaders with the typical character traits and helpful tips on how to use it wisely.
1. The Bossy type
The Bossy type often has an authoritarian and dominant charisma and attaches great importance to order. His leadership is characterized by rigor and ambition. Usually, the Bossy guy is convinced by himself and likes to stand by his employees. If something goes wrong, he takes the guilt wrong, and instead places it on his staff.

Tip: The bossy type does not want any contradictions, that is, respect its processes and never expose it to other employees by means of critical questions. But what is worth it: Give him suggestions or smart ideas that impress him, because he appreciates intelligent input.
2. The factual type
The factual type is usually rather reserved and sober. In principle, it is difficult to establish a human or even familiar relationship with this type of leadership, despite years of cooperation. Often such a relationship is not wanted at all. The factual type is only interested in the achievements of the colleagues and as a rule not for their private life. A boss with such a style of leadership has a positive aspect: he treats all his employees the same way and thus works predictably and consistently.
Tip: Go professional and polite with this kind of chef. Points, if you are on time in team discussions and remain substantive in terms of content.
3. The buddy type
The buddy type is one of the most popular boss personalities: he informs himself about the private life of his employees and acts very empathically. Employees of the buddy's boss usually feel understood and build a trustworthy relationship. Often, the buddy type is open to criticism and works steadily on itself. Unlike the Bossy type, the buddy type part wants to be part of the team rather than their leader. Sometimes it is difficult for the buddy guy to find a good balance between buddy and boss. This makes it difficult for him to get through.
Tip: One should never abuse the good nature of the buddy type. A breach of trust could carry heavy consequences and severely damage the relationship with him. With all the looseness, do not lose sight of the fact that he is the boss.
