Bayer, Daimler and IKEA
After the construction on Thursday evening, it started on Friday morning at 10 clock with the fair. There were many well-known companies, such as Bayer, Deutsche Post, Microsoft, Daimler and IKEA, as well as several consulting firms such as McKinsey, EY, Roland Berger, PWC, Bain and company, Accenture and BCG.
But also smaller Berliner startups were represented, such as eg DaWanda or Babbel. We had with SoS events a stand between Formaxx and Bayer and could draw with an Indo board some attention to us.
How to attract attention at a trade fair?
Also to others Company We were able to make good contacts on Friday and meet interesting HR professionals. The representatives of our stand neighbors also tested the Indo board and overall there was a relaxed atmosphere.
The audience was mixed. Open homosexuals and transsexuals, heterosexual, chic and rocky, students with dogs, young students up to college graduates and workers in search of new challenges. More and more students in the business outfit were lost to the trade fair.
Diversity in companies - a small miracle
The companies also presented themselves loosely and openly. The business outfit was often met here, but also the company's representative in jeans and a T-shirt dominated. Everywhere the word Diversity met, and many companies took the rainbow colors in their flyers, the stand design or their clothes.
Accenture was accompanied by a pair of cardboard flamingos, a panda costume was ready, and several booths attacked the unicorns of the organizers and marked their stands with unicorn balloons. Ice, beer and popcorn were distributed and a bike raffled.
While the exhibition hall was relatively simple, the industrial charm of the old postal station unfolded below.
In the inner courtyard there were cool drinks and a grill station in a relaxed atmosphere and adjacent to it in other semi-open spaces lectures took place. The location fit in any case very well to the fair and it was overall a successful event.
