Why is the money always gone?
"Not again!" - now I just saved a bit more money than normal and then the car breaks down. Always the same! Or not?
Anyway, it seems to me like this: If I've just swum a bit financially, unforeseen expenses come: Something is broken or something else is absolutely necessary and costs more than expected.
The money disappears, it is hardly there. There seems to be an invisible upper limit that I can not go beyond.
In the perfection delusion
"Damn! Again a mistake! "- I had been so careful and yet I did not succeed perfectly. Again not - as always! I concentrate, see everything through again and the moment I send the mail, I get a spelling mistake in the face. Too late! Do you know that? Something happens time and time again, though we take care, focus, do better. Can these ever-recurring scenarios have something to do with our inner attitude and conviction, and what exactly is happening there?
In order to survive, we rely on running some things on autopilot: some by nature - all within the body, like the metabolism - others based on experience and learning processes.
Normally, we only have to touch a hot hotplate once to avoid it for the rest of ours. Our brain thus learns very quickly, from our own experience or by looking away from others, and it tends to become generalizations:
It's always like that!
The hotplate was hot, so all hotplates are hot. - When it went wrong, then it always goes wrong. At the same time, children aged 0 - 10 are extremely open to accepting the beliefs of others (parents, teachers) almost unasked.
Over time, we sometimes come to the conviction that something is always the case. "I can not do that!", "Math does not suit me!" Or "No one likes me!" Are some of the internal beliefs or beliefs that, once unconsciously accepted, are not easy to extinguish.
Brain in speed noise
Our brain loves speed and therefore also generalizations. They are a time saver and serve as a protective mechanism. If we were to take the hot plate every time, life would be half as fast - and more painful.
Everything we perceive is "channeled" through our belief-set filters, and only that which is consistent with our beliefs is consciously perceived.
Nobody likes me?
The sentence "No one likes me!" (Originated in kindergarten, when one had a sub-optimal day and the educators and other children on the nerves and actually someone said: "I do not like you!"), Can follow you for a lifetime.
Our perception filter then confirms this attitude every day anew - we are oppressed to others, so they have a reason to avoid us or we are simply ignored.
