Anonymous on the rise?
On FAZ-Net last week was read by an interesting experiment: Five DaX companies and two international companies test, including Procter and Gamble and LOréal, test anonymous application procedures - on the basis of anti-discrimination agency of the Federal Republic.

In other words, applications will be filed without name, photo, age or gender. This is to avoid discrimination, for example because of their origin. Careerexpert Svenja Hofert finds the idea well and has also immediately a particularly crass case of candidate discrimination.
In principle, I also think that this is a nice idea, so finally even those who have the chance to get a job still believe that applications are based solely on the qualification and not on a meaningful photo. At least in theory.
... and practice
The reality is rather different. Not quite wrongly throw critics like Dr. Armin Trost, Professor For personnel management in Furtwangen, however, accuse this procedure that the discrimination begins then at the latest at the job interview. Daniela Krüger from the applicant blog finds: "Sure, the candidate may be invited to a job interview, but he still does not have the job."
The toilet application
Or should the job interview be done through the closed door - eg on the toilet? What sounds like a stupid joke, some people mean quite seriously: Burak Kaynak has designed a job application form that you can write on a toilet roll. Marcus Tandler has discovered this funny idea and commented in the usual original way.
He is right, probably will not prevail. Nevertheless, the basic idea is not even as crazy and stupid as it seems at first glance: The quiet village is in the truest sense of the word probably the only place where busy personnel sometimes time and - most importantly - have nothing to do. On the contrary, you usually stare stubbornly at a bare wall or door. Strategically, it would not be so unfavorable if the contact person had the application documents right at the moment.

After all, there is also toilets - so why not toiletsbe: advertising? However, I would find there were places where the application would be better off than on the toilet paper - because it is indeed on, but rather unpleasant, because, well, actually looking for something else in the moment ....
Perhaps there are sometime times even times displays, which are integrated into Klodeckel or hang on the toilet door - and which then eg also applications can display? Perhaps this is also the real advantage of mobile application procedures by mobile phone: that one can carry these everywhere and can read with boredom on the toilet?
Apply for a mobile - but please!
Apart from that, I consider mobile application procedures for the really best trend I've heard in a long time: Simply plug the Iphones together, the application has already been sent. The problem is that the technical prerequisites in the companies are simply not enough.
Here, as I have written here, the mobile application procedures would have to be considerably simplified: For what good is all the good employer branding if applicants have to spend an effort of one or more working days. Something scares off!
Rather, the time pressure that the applicant is exposed to today means that applications can also be submitted quickly, on the road, eg on the train. Meanwhile, the Harvard Business Manager has also taken up this idea and tested the online procedures of various large companies such as Daimler and BMW. Result: Much too complicated. Throwed money, as long as application procedures so cumbersome.
