Methodology: How was questioned?

Most of the reviews have the work agency (2.056), My City (1.836), Monster (1.723) and Stepstone (1668). Jobseekers evaluate the overall satisfaction as well as the search quality on a scale of 1 due to their experience with a job portal. Very good to 4 = Not at all satisfied.

Overall, 537 job portals were evaluated, but only 47 job portals are taken into account for the results analysis, as these have exceeded a relevance limit of 30 or more ratings.

Target of the survey and the makers

The aim of the project is to use an online survey of job seekers to assess their assessments, preferences and assessments of job exchanges and job search engines. In doing so, it is also to be ascertained which functions and areas of use are of importance to jobseekers.

The survey was initiated in October 2008 and is a long-term survey to identify trends in recruiting preferences. The online survey is a joint project of PROFILO Rating-Agentur GmbH and Crosswater Systems Ltd. carried out.

Which job exchange is ahead?

Jobware, Kalaydo and Stepstone are in the favor of the quality competition of the job portals very close together in the top group of the general job exchanges in Germany. The career portal Monster and the job exchange of the business network XING land in the middle.

Although the Employment Agency Job Market is still in last place, it has continually improved in user ratings.

In the special and niche job exchanges, the Mittelstands jobbörse Yourfirm, the science and technology job market Jobvector as well as hotel careers are on the top positions. Jobuma, Kimeta and iCjobs form the top group in job search machines.

The winners at the General Jobbörsen

Generalists are job boards that have no restrictions on the target group and therefore are used for all occupations, activities, sectors or regions. The table shows a selection of general job boards by satisfaction level.

The winners of the job search engines

In contrast to the job boards, job search engines pursue a differentiated mode of operation: Job advertisements are advertised directly on career pages using Spider technology Company "Discovered" and then prepared and indexed by semantic text analysis according to industry, activity and postcode area, so that they can be easily searched by applicants.

The table shows a selection of job search engines according to satisfaction level.

Unfortunately, in many HR departments a arrogance and arrogance has just established in large corporations, where I actually wonder if they are really looking for the best employees, as they state, or just interchangeable work slaves. But otherwise: very cool side here.
