Stay yourself; the customer remembers it when you move and becomes suspicious. It is always good to know how I work on other people.
After all, those who want to convince their customers first of all have to remain true to themselves - but also listen carefully and respond to the wishes of their customers!
"What do you like about me?"
Of course, now you can come here and have a personality profile analysis done, or you can actively get feedback. With friends, relatives, acquaintances, by whom.
Ask these people: What do you like about me? What could I still work on in your opinion? If you then compare the answers with your own opinion about yourself, you might be surprised.
Self-perception and foreign perception
No, you will be surprised. Often we perceive ourselves at least partially differently than our environment does. Just give it a try and it's fun to watch the respondents' reactions.
Of course you can also ask these questions to your best customers: What makes them buy from us? What would you like to do with us? Take the suggestions and then do what suits you, with which you feel comfortable and also the customer.
Enter into Customer
Important in emotional sales also means perceiving how your counterpart really ticks. What does he just say to you, verbal and non-verbal? What is his body language, rather to you facing and open or closed and turned away from you? Does he speak loudly or quietly, quickly or slowly, rhetorically, or rather simply in the choice of words?
And above all: What does he want to tell you between the lines? There, most of the information is hidden, there are the real emotional motivations again. What helps us is to ask questions and then actively listen.
How would you feel if you were a customer facing a salesman who concentrated entirely on you? Someone who asks you questions and then also listens properly. Someone whom you can look at at the look and at his body language that he is really interested in you.
Would you feel well and even finally understood? This is the case for most customers who are allowed to experience something like this. Listening is one of the first steps to gain the trust of the customer.
